What is the best flooring for a retail store?
It depends on traffic, store layout, cleaning and the brand experience. LVT is often considered for sales floors, carpet tile for quieter zones, and cork or timber where the finish and feel are priorities. A site assessment helps narrow the specification.
Can flooring installation be planned outside trading hours?
Premrest can discuss staged, after-hours and weekend works. Access approvals, preparation time, adhesive curing and the store layout affect what is possible. Share your trading hours and opening date when you enquire.
How much does retail flooring supply and installation cost?
The product, floor area, existing floor removal, moisture condition, levelling, trims and site access all affect the price. Send plans and project details for a quote that identifies the agreed supply, preparation and installation scope.
Can you help with a shop fit-out or a multi-site rollout?
Yes. Premrest works with retailers, shopfitters and project teams on individual stores and multi-site flooring projects. Include the locations, specification and rollout schedule in your enquiry.
Do you supply flooring as well as install it?
Yes. Discuss product selection, supply and installation together, or tell us if you need supply only. The quote will set out the agreed scope.
Does the subfloor need preparation?
That needs to be assessed on site. Existing adhesive, uneven slabs and moisture can affect the installation. Moisture assessment, levelling or remediation may be needed before the selected floor can be laid.
